Be comforted!

It never matters whether I am feeling low or high or on an even keel, there are scriptures that comfort me. I share them with you here:

1Thessalonians 4:13-18 (King James Version)

13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

It seems unnecessary to explain beyond the Word itself but in addition to it I share this today; I will only be blogging sparingly anymore and I wanted to remember a time where we will meet again for sure. I had a friend who would part saying, “here or there or in the air, I will see you later!”

This summer I would be happy to see you at Strawberry Lake Christian Retreat. I will be there until the beginning of September. Here is the web site to see where and what this camp is all about:

http://strawberrylake.org/ You are welcome to come anytime!

This Fall I will go to Guatemala for several months. Even until camp again next summer. Unless, of course, the above scriptures become fulfilled first!

So thank you for all the emails, blog suggestions, and keeping me in the loop with you. Those who became a friend though all this, thank you! I am grateful this friendship is in Christ and therefore endless!

But because internet access will not always be convenient and as in the case of Guatemala and the high lands that I go to, internet is almost nil at times, I can only anticipate a random blog if at all and even the email responses will be rare.

God bless and keep you always!
